I (David) coach my daughter’s U13s football team and this winter’s ugly weather is severely testing our girls’ enthusiasm for the beautiful game. Yet despite the delays and dismay, the girls keep turning up when they could still be comfortably snuggled up in bed.
So bring on the rain! Because although we are here to help them develop their football skills – building their resilience, teamwork, and character… that’s the real goal.
